The name is Lindsay, Lindsay Ramone. I am currently a detective for the NYPD and I was currently on the job when I decided to stop by this club. The club had this familiar name, Fuschia. I swear I had heard that name before but at the time, all I was worried about was getting a drink. So I did and that’s all I remember of the events from last night.

Now, I’m tied up. I woke up in this creepy room, tired and distraught. It was basically a basement without any doors despite this gigantic ass T.V. in the room. It covered the whole wall with this camera pointing right at me. Suddenly, the TV turned on and this robotic voice came on…

Suddenly, my chains broke up and I could move around. I know that voice is familiar but I can’t put my tongue on it.

See, isn’t that better. Not like it isn’t gonna change anything. Now then, who’s ready for some fun!? Today we’ll be playing a game, a special game of mine. Quite deadly if I have to ask. Have you heard of Mafia? It’s quite simple really. Everyone is divided into 2 categories, mafia and town. The objective is….

As he went on about the details, I started looking around for an exit, an escape. I noticed an air vent but it seems impossible to reach. Suddenly, I look at the screen.

Everyone must vote for a player during each day phrase. Otherwise, you may never die. It’s your decision, all of your decisions. Choose wisely or the guilt may kill you.

I remember that voice. Suddenly it hit me, I know why this club was so familiar….​

Ok this is has pretty much been a failure of a day so far, literally 5 posts in 6 hours from 7 players, so it's time for everyone's favorite D1 activity (everyone ignore ILY protesting in the corner over there), the RQS

I am really reaching here honestly, and I reserve the right to retract and 180 on this read in full, but I am ever so slightly leaning town on Ghost. I think that Ghost as a first-time mafia (if I'm remembering his experience correctly) would try to avoid standing out in general, but also would try to avoid posting fluff in the thread. His "hello" to Maple was really just a general case of fluff, and yeah, could easily be done as mafia, but I think that he would hesitate to put out meaningless posts as town

Love / hate relationship. Love the idea of the RQs, but always hated the questions that were used.


1. Will you be playing on invisible mode ?
No, you'll see me.

2. Who do you think the Mafia will target for a Day One lynch ? Why ?
Assuming they aren't Mafia themselves, I can definitely see the Mafia trying to target MapleSilver or Dedenne2. I've seen both players become easy lynch targets in the past for such simple things that weren't looked into more and I feel like once the Mafia has them cornered it can easily be a sealed deal. I don't think GhostKid would ever be an easy lynch target for the Mafia because he's too loveable and we always give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's too Town to lynch literally every game.

3. Who do you feel you can read the best ?
I feel like I can read Dolby the best. :}

4. Who do you feel you read the worst / are often wrong about ?
The person I'll have the hardest time reading is Bianca'sBoutique. I haven't ever played a game with her so I have no idea what she's like.

You're obviously just trying to get the game going so I can see why you would post something like this but ya you're definitely reaching.

What do you mean by the bolded part by the ways ? It doesn't make sense to me based on his past plays as Town because he was never hesitant to put forward posts of fluff or meaningless posts.

This was written after I wrote part of my post, but I’ll admit that this is somewhat biased by how I remember feeling as first time scum

People like Ghost who aren’t afraid to post fluff as town I feel typically balk as mafia. They will avoid what they feel is general mafia behavior (such as posting fluff or empty posts as an example) and attempt to churn out a high ratio of content to posts. This sometimes works, but can also result in them simply posting less. For example, Dedenne I felt the whole time last game was posting noticeably less than her normal townie stuff, avoided fluff where she could, and tried to tie everything she said to the game. In comparison to her play in Wiodpines (I feel that her play in Ships was genuinely influenced by unavailablity, so aim discounting it), she tended to avoid fluff at the start of her posts. In Woodpines for example, everything that Dedenne said pretty much was prefaced by her reaction to what she was doing (such as riding the bus) or a reaction to the volume (NOT the state) of the thread. In comparison, her posts in Hunger Games (as scum) tended to avoid this, and even in her more emotional appeals she avoided such stuff, which she would consider fluff.

This is a less than perfect case study, but there haven’t been recent new scum that much.
Basically, I feel as maf he would intentionally cut that down, despite TBTs focus on past play

I can actually see GhostKid getting a Mafia role and being told to play the same way he would as Town ( assuming there's more than 1 Mafia player ). That's how people constantly give him a pass to the end game and constantly lean Town on him. I disagree with you. I don't see GhostKid as Mafia straying away from what works for him as Town. That alone would make him stand out to the point of being sus'd right away, in my opinion.

I venemently disagree with this

First of all, the first-time mafia who would know how to act as mafia are typically well-known before their first time getting mafia on a forum. I personally believe that Ghostkid lacks the self-control to act like he would as town. Time and time again, I see easy to spot first-time mafia because they are unable to replicate their town play accurately, and I think that Ghost would fall into this category. You could argue in theory that how he would act naturally is the same as town and mafia, but that simply doesn’t work in practice as mafia typically have teammates to worry about (though there could be one scum this game). Moreover, Ghost is not a coaster

Furthermore, if you disagree with me and view him as null, I will abide by that he hasn’t produced telling content, but acting the same way as previous town games does not, in any way, in any world, make anybody “stand out to the point of being sus’d”. This whole post makes me scumread you, partially because it’s conceptually flawed, but also because you’re FoSing Ghost for acting the same way he always does

GhostKid has a comfort zone and his comfort zone would be posts of fluff. I don't agree with your idea that he would suddenly drop his regular Town play of posts of fluff and attempt to provide more content. That's my opinion on the reach that you posted earlier.

I haven't posted whether I think he is Mafia / Null / Town because it's way too early and otherwise I would be simply reaching as you did. You're the only one trying to get the ball rolling on GhostKid and I'm bouncing back my thoughts on your thoughts. I'm not sure if my posts are clear or not, but I said should he stray away from his easy-to-play Town meta, I'm sure that would make him stand out right away to the point of getting sus'd. It's fine if you disagree with me because as I posted that was all in my opinion.

I'm actually not FOS'ing GhostKid at all, rather bouncing my thoughts on yours about him.

My brain totally deleted the second to last sentence in ILY’s Post when I was replying to it. Disregard the FoS part of #12, though I still stand by that Ghostkid probably would/will act differently as mafia and that townreads on him in the past for his behavior weren’t really unjustified (after all, they were all right)

Ya, I can see why you would think GhostKid would act differently as Mafia because you're right, many first-timers have a hard time recreating their Town meta. I don't disagree with that view at all. It's just in the case of GhostKid in specific, my opinion on how I can see him playing as Mafia is that, I think he would stick to what is easy for him to do in the thread and what has earned him Town cred in the past ( a very easy play revolving around posts of fluff ). I just don't see him acting differently and I do think he is capable of recreating his Town meta because it's so easy and neutral. In my mind, it really comes down to when he is put under pressure.

I'm probably going around in circles by now though. Boop.

i agree with Kayla, i think that gavin would act the same way as he does even if he's mafia as thats just how his personality is, and he shows it a lot in games.
