Really? I went searching and everything I found was just rumors. Do you know the date it was released so I can update it?

Can somebody post a picture of the Festival Lantern DLC? Because I got an item from one of my villagers in the mail called the festival lantern. Are you sure it's DLC?

Not all DLC is exclusive to being DLC.
I tried to address that some, but they aren't all labeled.
 
what's the story on blue argyle tank and white school cap? I don't see them on the front page.

They need to be under "Future DLC" but no-one knows when or what region they will be in.

There was a rumour that the blue argyle tank was released by accident during the early release of the game in Japan though.

I did some reading that seemed to imply that they may never be released as DLC.
Since these are regular items, I will wait until they are actually released to add them to the list.

The white school cap isn't a regular item.
It's different from the white-team cap.

The white-team cap is white with red under the peak.
The white school cap is white with blue under the peak. (this is the one that's a Korean DLC and is mentioned on moridb and the prima guide.)

I believe you are thinking of the Clerk's Shirt which was accidentally released early in the game. The Blue Argyle Tank has never been release before and, to clarify for OP, will only be available as DLC.

As for the hat situation: white TEAM cap (red brim) IS available in the game already but white SCHOOL cap (blue brim) will also only available as DLC as well and also has yet to be released.


To compile a concrete list here for everyone, here are the items in game that have not been released anywhere:

• Taurus Bathtub: 4/20/2014 - 5/20/2014 (JAPAN/EUR)

• Gemini Closet: 5/21/2014 - 6/21/2014 (JAPAN/EUR)

• Cancer Table: 6/22/2014 - 7/22/2014 (JAPAN/EUR)

• Leo Sculpture: 7/23/2014 - 8/22/2014 (JAPAN/EUR)

• Virgo Harp: 8/23/2014 - 9/23/2014 (JAPAN/EUR)

• Libra Scale: 9/24/2014 - 10/22/2014 (JAPAN/EUR)

• Scorpio Lamp: 10/23/2014 - 11/22/2014 (JAPAN/EUR)

• Blue Argyle Tank: ??? (JAPAN?)

• Kimbap Plate: ??? (KOR?)

• Red Horned Hat: ??? (KOR?)

• School Cap: ??? (KOR?)

• White School Cap: ??? (KOR?)​


These items are not out in any of the four regions and some don't even have expected release dates yet, unfortunately. You cannot time travel to get these items, they are not available in the game as standard items and anyone claiming to have or be able to get these in the game as of this post date is either misinformed, mistaken, or straight up lying to you.

Everything else has been released at some point in at least one of the regions or is available in-game.

That's a really long winded way of saying what I just said.
And the rumour for the blue argyle tank was merely a rumour on reddit.
Thus, not cofused with the clerks shirt as that was released.

I hope it becomes available though!

Perpetuating rumors is not helpful information to be spreading around, thus why I felt the need to state the fact that it has not been accidentally released and is still not available to anyone in game without use of a hacking device.

I didn't perpetuate a rumour lol. I was highlighting an interesting point to someone who questioned information about the item; merely expanding my response from a short, prosaic answer! This is a forum after all.
Also no such hacking devices exist... that's a good example of a perpetuated, inaccurate sentence.

I never specified that they did exist at this point in time. I simply stated that if one was to obtain any of the items I listed above prior to their release as DLC, it would have to be through some sort of hacking device as there is no other way to obtain them without directly exploiting the game.

Anyway, I will be discontinuing this conversation to avoid further cluttering up the thread.

The sets I am looking for are one that can look like a TV Studio with Camera and Game show stuff :)
If I could find those furniture sets, I would so give over 2 Million Bells to the person who can help me find those. :)
 
Just got a top from Nintendo zone Europe, I already had it but someone might need it :).
