"Wow, that's crazy," I say. "I never would have guessed somebody from this planet had such a…hard life."

"why not" I say and walk around with her and then say "is this as strange as it is for me as it is for you being away from home."

I laugh. "No, it's fine, let's just cheer the mood up a little. Ideas?"

"Yes. For the large majority of my life, I have lived underground on Artemis. It's still unusual trying to get used to being above ground. I assume that's similar with you. Towns and cities are above cloud level on your home planet, right?"

"Yeah that's right they are above the clouds it is amazing up there" I say and then say "this is the first time that I have ever left my home and walked under the clouds."

"I've been here on Athene for a couple of weeks now, so it isn't as weird, though I'm still not totally used being up here yet."

"I would of came down here but my parents are not to pleased on the idea of me coming down here so they made me spend so much time with them before I left."

"My parents didn't have any particular views on what I do, so long as I'm doing something that I like. So, being a logical person, I actually enjoy problem solving and similar tasks, which makes for a good strategist in a group like this."

After the banquet (because that was a thing I went to and I have been here the whole time ), I decide to head outside into the city.
I think to myself as I look around: Wow, the gardens are really beautiful... This planet is a little warm, though...

I lift my mask a small bit to feel a slight breeze, but I take care to keep my face obscured. I stalk into the shade and release a panting sigh.

(Oops, it just occurred to me that I never mentioned his height. I'll edit that into my form now.)

"Hey, Wendy, can we go somewhere more shaded? It's too warm out here for me..."

"I love shrimp. It's kind of uncommon where I come from, actually, the ones there live at the bottom of the ocean, which is pretty obscure, but the fact that it's so rare is just amazing. My other favorite is probably salted crab."

I look around and see both Polakis: one talking to the Toval, the other lifting its mask to feel some air. It's so hard to tell the gender with their masks on. I go back to talking to Anya.

I nod and look around and spot a bar nearby. "Ohhhhh, I'm gunna go in there!"

"Oh boy…" I say. "I'll catch you later." I walk away and go towards the lone Polaki (Tokay). "Hey, I didn't get your name. I'm Tahlya."

I go towards the bar and start drinking.

When Wendy doesn't reply, I assume she's just daydreaming (Jessica seems to have disappeared, so...), so I just go and head inside a nearby bar, hoping it's a little cooler in there than it is outside.

I look up at the girl approaching me and try to hide my discomfort at the heat. "Hi there..." I say. I smile, although I soon remember my face is covered. "I'm... Felix."
