I reach a shop that sells assorted beverages, not checking whether Tahlya followed me. I decide on a cold milkshake and sit down at a table, still panting slightly from my heat and the fact that I ran inside.

I silently sip my shake, then notice someone who had just come into the shop and was panting.

I carefully put the straw through the mouth-hole of my mask and slowly sip at it. I lean back and notice a fox-girl staring at me. No... What were they called?

I see a kori sitting by a window and staring at me. (Yes I know the race is actually called kira lol) I tentatively wave, not quite sure what to do.
