i've been drinking both a bit more recently as a replacement for soft drinks and as a refresher after long hikes. personally im a fan of powerade, i feel like it tastes better and it has B vitamins and other nutrients listed, while gatorade doesnt seem to have any vitamins added to it and tastes a bit more bland.
I don’t really like either, but I voted for Gatorade only because Propel flavored water is my ****. It’s made by Gatorade. Also, the fruit punch Gatorade was my go-to when working at the Grand Canyon. It was the only drink the general store sold that I liked. I’m very picky, lol.
I don't have enough experience with Powerade to comment on it; I've had it a small handful of times years ago. I've had Gatorade more recently than Powerade, but I don't consume it on any regular basis. Since I cannot compare the two fairly, I'll refrain from casting a vote on it.
Based on what was said in the first post about Powerade having B vitamins and nutrients though, I'd probably be more interested in that and might have to try it sometime.
I've had both in yellow flavour and honestly, Powerade tastes like a watered down wanna be Gatorade. Gatorade tastes better. I heard Gatorade has more sugar which is maybe why I like it better but to me, Powerade is bland. Atleast the yellow variety, haven't had others. I like Gatorade in multiple flavours. Red, yellow, orange, pink, the other pink one.
Gatorade, Propel, and Vitamin Water are my personal favorites. I think the last time I had Powerade was high school and I remembered enjoying the blue flavor. I don’t drink soda or alcohol so my “guilty pleasure” drink of choice is all the flavored stuff lol.
Yeah,I think Powerade tastes a lot better than Gatorade.Gatorade is kind of salty and not as sweet.I don't know what the flavor is called but I like the blue Powerade.
this is funny because i was actually thinking about gatorade vs powerade the other day. i’ve never had powerade before and i’ve only ever tried two flavors of gatorade before, the blueberry one and the fruit punch one, my favorite being fruit punch out of the two. i was hesitant to try the fruit punch gatorade at first but i was pleasantly surprised because it tasted better than i had expected.
Powerade gave me mad heartburn one time from the pink lemonade flavour so I voted for gatorade. Both of them give me a weird after taste though. I only drink the blue flavoured one occasionally.
They both taste more or less exactly the same to me. For the longest time I always presumed that Powerade was a spin-off of Gatorade, so I was surprised to learn that it was in fact a competitor.
I voted for Gatorade because I haven’t tried Powerade. I’ve only had energy drinks a few times before and don’t intend to change that anytime soon. That being said the blueberry flavor is the best one imo.
I think Powerade is the superior -ade but I also think I prefer Propel over both. Propel has good flavours and I think I actually prefer that it's clear and not coloured.
