I recall seeing this on my Twitter and I thought that this would be really cool to do(minus the tags and such).
'The Gender Tag is a project for everyone. Gender is a part of the human experience, and every single person experiences gender in a different way'
I was curious in what you guys answers/responses maybe
Questions:
1. How do you self-identify your gender, and what does that definition mean to you?
2. What pronouns honor you?
3. Describe the style of clothing that you most often wear.
4. Talk about your choices with body hair. How do you style your hair? Do you have facial hair? What do you choose to shave, or choose not to shave?
5. Talk about cosmetics. Do you choose to wear makeup? Do you paint your nails? What types of soaps and perfumes do you use if any?
6. Have you experienced being misgendered? If so, how often?
7. Do you experience dysphoria? How does that affect you?
8. Talk about children. Are you interested in having children? Would you want to carry a child if that were an option for you? Do you want to be the primary caretaker for any children you may have?
9. Talk about money. Is it important to you to provide for a family financially if you choose to have one? Is it important to you that you earn more than any partner you may have? Do you prefer to pay for things like dates? Are you uncomfortable when others pay for you or offer to pay for you?
10. Anything else you want to share about your experience with gender?
Here's my tag:
1. I identify myself as female. I'm still exploring and learning as my life continues but I do think I'm very comfortable with the sex I am.
2. She/Her/Them
3. It really depends honesty. I don't think clothes have a gender but my style does consist of cyber ghetto and urban(for my mood swifts from wearing black to bright colors).
4. MMMMMM. Well I don't do much with my hair. It is pretty long though, down to my butt. I shave sometimes, like my underarms or something. Not much of my legs or arms since there's not much there. I'm pretty personal with my private areas.
5. Ahhh. I love makeup. It brings out my creative side and expresses myself more throughly. But I don't wear heavy. I'll probably contour on a special event or something but I just do my eyebrows, probably some lipstick(my lips are naturally nude), winged eyeliner and mascara.
6. Probably just online since no one knows what your gender is unless told otherwise. I've been called a boy a lot on this site called imvu but in real life? No. Unless jokes count.
7. No. I love myself and my body. So I'm good.
8. Maybe one day but not now. Probably in the near near future when I finally found someone I love and if we do decide to get kids, I would like to adopt.
9. I was confused about this one but I guess being finical has its gender like masculine. "I'm the man so I got this". Naw. I don't think me and who ever I love should be entitled or belittle base upon what they make but I do need something stable enough so we don't later stress aboht it.
10. I think that covers it but I'm still learning and exploring on who I am and what I'm comfortable with but I think this is good enough. Shoutout to nonbinaries, I remember being hella naive about this topic in the lgbat community thread but I'm growing and learning new things so yeah
Keep this clean people
