Getting Villagers to move out ?

I haven't been able to find any solid information on this. I've tried complaining about them to Isabelle multiple days in a row, smacking them with the bug net till they get huffy puffy and also skipping ahead 6 months. None of it worked though.
If anyone could help me out with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
