Got a second peppy ( Penelope) rather than a cranky or snooty.

Apparently Penelope is moving in tomorrow. She will be my 7th villager. I thought personalities were tied to the first eight houses that you build.

Penelope looks like a cutie but I miss having cranky and snooty villagers in my town.

Plus Tutu will be jealous.

afaik the personality is only tied to the first two (the guys you land on the island with) and then the next 3 that you find on the nook miles deserted island. after that its fair game, although it doesnt seem to be letting me invite amiibo villagers

I think the first 6 (so up to the first camper) have some link to personality, but after that it's a free-for-all, since you can use amiibo and adopt from others and such. Yesterday I had my 7th villager move in, who was Alli, and I know she's a snooty but I adopted her, so should she have been another personality, I imagine she would have still been fine to move in as the 7th.

It seems that getting certian Villager Personality’s is a bigger task than we expected. From all my Mystery Island Tours I only got 1 Cranky. Maybe I’m unlucky.

no, it's really so random now. i thought they'd make it like you'll get each personality at first then it's random after the 8.

i already have 2 normal villagers, ugh. they're cute but i don't want more of them, their dialogs can get so boring. i still don't have cranky or snooty.

I had 3 jocks (honestly that's overkill I can only listen about getting swole for so long) but of the 10 islands I went to 7 were ALSO jocks. It's so random. Please game give me a cranky.

Went to 12 islands yesterday and I saw peppy/uchi/normal/jock/cranky/smug villagers, but no snooty.

I ended up finding Raymond before I found a single snooty...

After placing down the plot for the 6th (campsite, was a smug) villager...

3 islands to get a cranky. Then the next day... 15 islands to get a snooty.

I invited the first I saw of each personality I didn't have. It looks to just be completely random now after the 5/6th (campsite is very likely to be a smug, but not for sure)

I'm in serious need of a snooty and who knows if I have even come across one since if they're not appealing I just ignore them. I did find Lobo and invited him since I didn't have a cranky and I was in need of one. He's not bad but I don know how to feel about a purple looking wolf.

There seems to be a severe lack of snooty and cranky villagers as I have none, I have 3 normal villagers which is way too many

I'm going to have two normal villagers soon, and still no cranky or snooty. Hopefully my next villager will be one of either.
