Grass Types

Hi
Has anyone seen any photos from the game with grass shape that isn't triangles?

I looked back at a bunch of trailers and they were all with triangle shaped grass... Has anyone seen any other types confirmed? Is there a chance there will only be one grass type?

Some were also saying there was a rectangular grass but I haven't seen anything. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

So looking at this, I think it's just that snow is circular and everything else is triangular

On the back of the new switch the “summer/spring” sections have triangles, fall has squares and winter has circles. Maybe it’s based on seasons?

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen fall with triangles as some point. But just an idea.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen fall with triangles as some point. But just an idea.

I'm pretty sure there are going to be different grass types similar to the previous games. Although some some people have stated that the grass types change throughout the seasons and I find that interesting. We still don't know but I'm certain that there will be different grass types.

So this is the fall grass that I found.
If I had a choice, I would do circle grass but rectangle sounds cool.
I just dont think we've seen it outside of the back of the switch. The more I look at it, I think it is supposed to be a path, maybe not grass

In Wild World, City Folk and New Leaf, square grass always turned into circle snow and triangle grass turned into square snow.

Carina is correct. And circle grass turns into star snow.

I had to look this up. New Leaf did not follow the same rules of Wild World and City Folk.

City Folk and Wild World were basically clones, and since New Leaf was different in the grass rules, it's unknown if New Horizons changed too making Circle Snow and Triangle Grass the same.
