My name is aawtolkien, my island is called Rivendell. Inspired by LOTR it is pretty basic currently. Still struggling to get diy recipes and paying off my house loan since getting into ACNH, my life has been consumed. I’m hoping to reach out to others on this forum to make friends and get tips! Is it just the name Rivendell that will be LOTR-inspired, or will your whole island be Rivendell/LOTR themed? I'd be interested to know how you're going to decorate/what villagers you would choose! The vines and Ruined Decorated Pillar introduced in the 2.0 update would be perfect for a Rivendell-inspired island!

Hello my island all together is going to be Rivendell themed, I have some decor and clothing posted outside of Able Sisters that’s LOTR attire. YES the look of the ruined decorated pillar is what I would go for. I came from pocket camp and now I’m like how do I even gather more furniture I’d like to craft. I lack patience haha

That’s so great to hear that Tabby is getting some attention I feel so disappointed in myself I came across Leopold while gathering iron in the beginning to get Nooks Cranny building and I couldn’t invite him at the time. He does look super sophisticated, love that!

your island name is super cool! i’ve never been big on LOTR, but my mom’s always been obsessed with it aha. it’s a pretty cool franchise! i bet your island is just as cool, too.
your avatar is also absolutely adorable, and it’s great to see more love for tabby! she’s one of my friends’ favourite villager as well. i’ve yet to have her on my own island, but i’m certainly not opposed to the idea! she seems very sweet and fun to have around. who are some of your other favourites so far?

Do you mean the signatures? (mine is a picture of Agnes with some text underneath)
1) If you’d like to set up a signature, using the tool bar at the top of the page, click on your profile picture.
2) From there, click on “signature”, and that will bring up the ”Edit signature” page.
3) On that page, you can either type text or attach a picture, then press “Save” and it will show up on all your posts!
To attach a picture in your signature, the picture needs to be hosted somewhere. If you want to upload your own picture, you can upload it to somewhere like Imgur or Imgbb. To add a picture, select the little lanscape picture above the text box, then paste in the URL for where your image is hosted, including the file extension (e.g. .png, .jpg).
I use Imgur for hosting pictures, but it’s not the most popular choice (though I think it’s pretty easy to use). If you want to upload a picture to use on the forum, you just choose “New Post”, find your file and wait for it to upload, and click “Get Share Links”. I find the easiest link is to copy the BBCode link, and paste it into the URL box I mentioned above, then you have to remove the codes that say (IMG) and (/IMG). This might not be the easiest way, but this is the way I do it.
