GTS is broken

I can't seem to trade pokes over GTS.

A guy was offering a level 100 houndoom for a Boy houndoom, no specific levels, it just said houndoom boy, no level.

So I rejoiced! I had a boy houndoom so I press trade and my houndoom isn't highlighted like a normal trade-able poke would. I was pissed!!
It was un-tradable >=[

Does anyone know what's wrong and how this can be fixed?? This happened last night too with a ralts.

Simple answer: Don't use the crappy thing in the first place. You'll probably get hacks and etc.

if i were you i'd just wait with all the gts stuff 'til more people get the game, if it is a problem that'll get more common nintendo will probably fix it

It may be your Wi-Fi lagging in the first place.

Some questions you should know.

1. Do you use a USB Connector?
2. Have you ever traded in Platinum before or Diamond on the GTS? If so it may be lagg.
3. Do you always lagg or once in awhile?
4. Visit this site, Nintendo.com or call them. Long distance may occur.
5. Nintendo maybe on a update. Try again later if your still have trouble or do what I said on the 4th help.

I traded over GTS in diamond ALL the time and no lag ever occured.
