Hacked items can hurt the game but, 3 items that i know of are harmless which are the Blue Falcon,Pikmin,and Shiny Blue Pikmin Hat. The modified axes are harmful if you use to much or you throw it into the fountain.

P.S.

I don't hack the game but, i own those 3 items and i learned most of this stuff knowledge through research.
