Halloween 2021 unlocked

For TTers out there, Jack is unlocked now. This is especially great for those of us unavailable to play tomorrow. Happy Halloween!

I have not seen any yet, sadly. Jack still gives the same rewards for lollipops.

It sounds like all they added for Halloween this year was the Spooky Treats Basket, Spooky Tree, and Spooky Trick Lantern items/DIYs, plus the Mexican Day of the Day Marigold Decoration seasonal item (October 25-November 3). None of those need to be gotten on Halloween itself. The event day should be exactly the same as it was last year, unfortunately.

yes from 5pm till 12am

Ok yeah, so he's not unlocked yet......I'm on PST

he was unlocked for everyone at the same time, it's just a region setting that TTers edit along with the date/time.

What a shame, here i was hoping since holidays were locked that they would spice things upa little bit andhave different like halloween types of event and it would rotate every year. Shame

Yah, I'm confused. Last year I was able to play the night before with no issue, but I just TTed to the 31st, and nothing was there? Did they change it so you need to change your region as well?

Update release and the Halloween event being unlocked are entirely separate things. You will never be able to obtain an update before it's ready in your region unless your account is already set in another region, or you create a new account set to a region where it's already been released. Changing this in your Switch system settings will do absolutely nothing in either instance.

To enjoy this event early, you have to TT by time zone, not simply change the date/time. When I did it earlier today, I sent my clock to Auckland time, and then to after 5pm on 10/31, and it worked just fine.

I am sorry to say that there hasn't been much changes to it. They gave me all of the same spooky stuff from last year and Jack still gives you the same items. No new DIYS and No new Spooky items. Its just a repeat from last year. I am disappointed.

I was happy to do the event and hang out with Jack, but otherwise, nobody is missing much if they have already done the event. It was like Bunny Day ‘21— fun change from the normal grind, but nothing really new.

That really annoys me. Like why lock the event if they are not going to add anything new? It just seemed pointless.

Yes, there really isn’t any logic in it. I even skipped to the next day, to see if Jack may have sent a new reward in the mail, and I got nothing. I hope with cooking coming, they at least mix up Turkey Day a bit.

I hope so because I know new players are going to enjoy the Halloween Event just fine, but for day one players like myself they will be disappointed to find nothing really new. I get its traditional for AC to repeat events, but still they could've at least change up the event and add new stuff.
