Halloween Plans for 2020

I’m hoping since I finally live on my own in a apartment complex (my complex is mostly single moms or young families) that we can do trick or treating!!! I want to see the kids in the cute little outfits so excited to get free candy like I was years ago lol. Plus with me about to welcome my own little one in December, and I’m getting impatient as I want her here so badly, it will be nice to interact with some moms/kids even if it’s just for a few minutes. Plus I have seen soooo many cute Halloween ideas on Facebook and Pinterest ugh, definitely waiting for the NH update as well as I want the spooky stuff back, and jack stuff. Might log on to new leaf to decorate.

I love Halloween! I was hoping we’d be able to take my 3 year old trick or treating since she’s been talking about it non stop since November, lol. Last year was her first time trick or treating, I guess it’s fair to say she had a great time! But obviously with the pandemic we’ll have to play it by ear. Regardless I’ll buy her a costume (she’s currently undecided between spider man, buzz lightyear, or True from the rainbow kingdom) and maybe set up something for her at home if trick or treating gets canceled or if it just seems too unsafe. My birthday is the day before Halloween so even if we can’t go out at least we’ll still be able to have a celebration indoors with cake and decorations! It’ll definitely still be enjoyable no matter what happens.

Hey !! I’ve seen lots of parents planning to make like boo baskets for the kiddos of trick or treating is canceled, I’m sure she’d like that. I plan on making one for my daughter every year once she’s born lol

Well, I'll be 28 on Halloween so there is that! Probably invite only close family since we'll, staying away is still a thing but other than that? Nothing special lol

I absolutely LOVE halloween! It's probably my favourite holiday of the year (aside from Christmas) and I'm actually gutted that I'll be working this year lol. Every year I usually travel ~3 hours to go home for my friends birthday, she always has a costume party and the past couple of years its been themed around peaky blinders (the tv series). I started a new job around a month ago so I'm not sure what they'll allow in terms of costume/face paint, but if we're allowed I'd love to wear some halloween makeup!
I'd also love to carve pumpkins and watch some scary movies, as well as play AC in the hopes that I get to see Jack in HD!

I wasnt expecting this thread to pick up traction so fast. I love hearing about all your plans and im so glad the spirit hasn't been lost this year!!

I didnt mention it in my first post but of COURSE I'll be playing Animal Crossing. I think its likely that my sibling and their partner will be coming over and we can all play together! Now that would be fun.

Halloween is my favorite holiday! I think this year I'll just go for a drive to look at the full moon and then come back home and watch movies and play AC. I wanna carve some pumpkins at some point too.

I don’t celebrate Halloween because if the spiritual meaning behind it. But I do love seeing people full on cosplays, as if I am at a convention!
