Yes. The full size of the small rug should be shown clearly in the second photo so we can tell that the area being used is 3x3.

Also can we use more than one gyroid?

Wall and ceiling items are allowed, as well as multiple gyroids.

Are plants like flowers or a tree allowed in our layout? Or is it furniture items only?

Outdoor foliage is allowed. Just keep it within a 3x3 space as you would furniture.
