I usually visit my parents for Chinese New Year, or if I can't make it my room mate will bring me to celebrate with her family and we just eat tons and get red packets lol. This year I stayed back and I'm enjoying peace and quiet alone at home (since my room mate left), although there's annoying firecrackers outside occasionally that scares my room mate's dog.

I really hope my work has Chinese food specials for tonight but with my luck they'll either be out of everything I want or everything will have meat in it... we do little red packets where people can win freeplay or money so a lot of people will be here I'm sure.

We went out to celebrate at a restaurant and ate some long noodles and fish (not whole fish unfortantly). We were gonna feed some red packets to dragons but I forgot to bring them.

Working tonight, wore red to be in the spirit. My work had a red envelope thing tonight, my mom got two of them and said there really wasn't much inside of them, she got some freeplay and some points towards purchases. Really wish they would have had more Chinese food specials.
