It’s my little cousin’s favorite show, and I didn’t know about it until the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade float. I thought it looked adorable, so I watched some of it (as a woman in her 20s)! It’s cute and funny— I would have stanned at her age too lol.

I've never watched it myself, but I know about it because my niece and nephew love it. I think it looks cute.

And nothing wrong with being an adult watching kids' shows. I used to watch them a lot when I was in my 20's too.

ive heard about it it looks cute, i would watch it but my sister is older than the intended age range and id be embarrassed to watch it around her, and i think I'd get bored if i just tried to watch it myself in private sjjshsgg

Oh for sure! The humor is great too. Like when they told Bingo she wasn’t born when Bluey was a baby she said, “Yay! I was invisible!” Also this one account on Twitter makes good fanart of them as humans.

My kid sister (she's 8) adores it and so I see it a lot lol
it's a very cute series and I'm currently working on art of her 'original character' for the show ^^

Yep! It’s genuinely very nice. Comfort show to pick me up at a certain time; the family relationships/banter are relatively realistic, it genuinely has some good jokes and most of all it captures childhood nostalgia in such a genuine way. Like, the child characters aren’t annoying but are just goofballs for example, and the parents actually have fun and mess with them. It’s so cute. It also helps the character designs are really cute and surprisingly the show is really well animated.

Whenever I see Bluey merch in stores, it makes me happy; I’d like to own a good-quality plush someday.

My best mate works in a primary school and she was telling me about this the other night over wine. She thinks it's a great TV show because it tackles real issues children might face. However, on the other hand I also had to endure a long rant about why Peppa Pig is a terrible role model for children.

Not something I'll see in the near future, because I'm in my 30s and my partner and I aren't planning to have kids anytime soon, but I hope that children's TV continues to hone in more on personal development and relevant issues.

I should also mention that I’m American so I didn’t hear about the show until recently…. The episode with a flashback of Baby Bluey is just too adorable. 😭💕

I freakin' love this show! I did start watching with my kids, but there are real moments in the show that are quite poignant and poetic that transcends age. The score is fantastic (for anyone with a mild interest in classical music, the remixes are FANTASTIC). The animation is top-notch and the settings are so vibrant and sometimes simply stunning. I love the humor, and I think the parenting is something to aspire to (Bandit and Chilli really PLAY with their kids, like deeply immersed in the imaginative play). My kids were Bluey and Bingo for Halloween this past year. I could go on and on.

If I were to recommend episodes to grown-ups, I would say "Sleepytime" always brings a tear to my eye and the way the music swells gives me happy chills:
and "Camping" which is romantic and sweet in almost a Ghibli way:

I almost never watch television in general anymore, but as I've been under the weather and spending more time in bed, I found myself channel surfing and this show happened to be on. It's much more charming than I originally anticipated, and I originally anticipated it as merely being Australia's response to Peppa Pig, so take that as you will.

With each episode only being about seven minutes in length, I do think they really don't have much time to breathe, and I could easily see another three or four minutes benefitting it. But they nevertheless do manage to squeeze in the occasional bit of relatable characterization, and even when they don't, it's sufficiently cute enough without being obnoxious.

Basically, the short sample of episodes I watched were perfectly fine. And now I shall return to my usual routine of groaning about how children's television stopped being good coincidentally the moment I became old enough to examine them critically, thus objectively proving that programs from my generation were inarguably superior and showing all those pre-teens on TikTok what's what.

I've never watched Bluey but I have heard nothing but good things about it. Bonus points: the studio that makes it is only an hour train ride from where I live which is pretty cool; and some of the animators recently did drawings of people's pets to raise money for a local animal shelter. They seem like a wholesome bunch

I have heard of Bluey but I haven't watched it. My Guidance Counselor at School Mrs. Harmon's kids love it and watch it. I really need to watch it sometime. Maybe over my Christmas Break from school, I'll watch it.

You know, if I would have a nickle for every time I see a Bluey thread in here, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Anyway, I've never watched the show. I see it sometimes trending on Twitter (when I go to the awful place) and it seems alright. Which is weird that a show directed for a young audience is better than half the drivel for older children. Looking your way Teen Titans Go.

i’ve only seen a few minutes of it but i can tell it’s 10x more engaging than any other kids show.

It’s an absurdly popular show. You tend to hear about it everywhere, even when you least expect it.

I used to watch it years ago but it was never something I became obsessed with. I also think the show quickly degraded in quality. I hate how in later episodes there seems to be parental favoritism towards Bingo and Bluey is treated like an outcast.

I started watching it recently. It’s so cute and the scenery is really pretty and the vibes are great!

Also, I bet I would have absolutely adored it even more when I was super into dog breeds (I used to just constantly look through books of dog breeds, write about them at school, draw them, and even imagine people as dogs!) I also had a little hyperfixation on Australia at one point.
