Has anyone here been to an anime convention?

Yeah I've been to a smaller one some five years ago I think? It was alright but pretty mainstream and by that time I was a Neptunia freak so xD

Also been to ComicCon here (sometime it was paired with a Gamex/game con as well, which was basically game ads paired with shady stands selling fanservice/hentai things lol)

I always wanted to go to one, but there are all too far away from my hometown. Besides, not having enough money and/or time are another reasons why it never worked. My hometown unfortunately never hold any conventions, either there aren't enough Anime fans here that it would be worth making one or nobody ever came up with idea to actually hold one.

I've been going to anime conventions for the last 10 years. I always have a blast! They are definitely crowded (and sweaty and smelly), but I don't usually mind because I am so excited about everything else. I love shopping in the dealers' room and watching AMVs. I would highly recommend that anyone interested in anime attend one!

I go to anime north pretty much every year. Personally I am not really into anime, but since there's lots of video game stuff there I have fun going w my friends!
