Has anyone played Kentucky Route Zero? Thoughts?

It looks pretty neat and the kind of game I'd like as I love the Night in the Woods and Thimbleweed Park...
I haven't seen it put on sale at all though and was wondering if the high price is justifiable. I mean it's not horridly expensive but I could get probably two games I've been thinking about especially because of the ongoing sales.
What do you think?

Hi! So me and my gf have played it for a small while, and although the animations and stuff looks really cool, there’s a loooooot of dialogue, so at first the game can feel as if there’s a lot to trench through. However, I can tell that it would be a lot of fun to play if I gave it more time.
