Has something changed with villagers giving pictures?

I never had a problem until recently. Every single day I give wrapped gifts to villagers who haven't given me their picture.

I have a couple villagers who have worn out their welcome (lookin' at you Cherry/Ribbot) and after more than 3 months...no pic! Did they make it harder somehow, or am I just having bad luck? Anyone else have this issue recently?

I don't know if this is true or not... but I feel like certain personalities are harder to get than others

According to this thread nothing was changed, so I guess you're having bad luck. I got photos from Bones, Bianca, and Julian I think since the last update

Same! I have been trying for months to get Julians photo I got Biancas today but Julian is just being very stubborn meant to be superbuds but I guess that’s not enough

i just got the picture for my starter lazy a week ago, so my guess is bad rng. good luck to you! i hope you get it soon

you have to be best friends with the villager, and the gift has to have a sell value of 750+ bells for a chance at obtaining their photo in return. it's about a 5-9% chance if you meet both criteria. good luck!!

It's RNG. 3+ months is not uncommon. That just means RNG hates you. I've gotten them within the first month before. And one villager took me almost 4 months. RNG is RNG.

In the past week I got 2 photos and 4 in the last month. Seems fine to me.

Still not got audies photo yet which is a shame as she has got to go
