No for me and I kinda feel bad for it.
They were Shari and Mac.
They were replaced by my dreamies Phoebe and Poncho once the Amiibo feature was unlocked. Now I have all of my dreamies back from New Leaf.
Rest in peace in the void you two.
I understand.
Anyone playing “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” may have in mind
which villagers will be on one’s island.
I am going in between with this.
I don’t have a perfect cast of islanders in mind.
My first town in “Animal Crossing: New Leaf,” started in August 2013, consisted of three villagers who I kept throughout: Normal frog Jambette; Jock duck Scoot; and Peppy bird Twiggy.
I felt loyalty because they were there from the beginning. I felt like the town, which is named
Applewin, was as much theirs as mine. I ended up buying several more hard copies of the game. And I was wise to keep them.
“New Leaf,” on Nintendo Switch, is different. So, I can understand that this may be more precious.
I have decided, for the time being, to keep my two starting villagers: Jock bear Teddy and Uchi cat Katt. I have Teddy in my “New Leaf” town Orange. I have Katt in my town ACNLpics. (That is a museum-themed town in which all villagers’ and special characters’ pictures are displayed in the four humans’s houses. I still have links to each “New Leaf” town in my signature. They are topic threads which include Dream Address information and some pictures from each town.)
My cast of islanders in “New Horizons” (thus far) to go along with Teddy and Katt are: Normal goat Nan; Lazy deer Erik; Peppy rabbit Bonbon; Smug bird Lucha; Snooty werewolf Whitney; Cranky cat Tom; Cranky octopus Octavian; and Normal duck Molly. I used amiibo cards to scan into my campsite (and eventual island) both Octavian and Molly. I intend to replace Nan with Uchi ostrich Phoebe; Lucha with Smug squirrel Marshal; and Tom with Lazy bear cub Stitches. But, I am not necessary going to hurry it. And, come to think, I may switch up my plans along the way. Of those three replacement considerations, my favorite is Stitches. So, I do want him again. (He is in Applewin.) The ones who are present on my island are very nice. I did not invite Bonbon. But she is wonderful. And Lucha, which I did not want, and was forced on me (as he was the first at the campsite), is starting to grow on me.
One thing about “New Horizons” is this: In trying to develop and build the island, I have ideas of what I want to do. What is so time-consuming are the distractions. Those are the distractions that are in between the time and effort spent trying to organize and develop and build the island which I have named
Óhana (which is a Hawaiian term for
family).
