have you written letters to your villagers?

ive written every one of my villagers a letter every day since i unlocked the ability to, and i try to send a lil cherry or some other fruit with it as well. i always get at least one gift back which is nice.

i like to actually put some thought into my letters when i make them. cookie asked me in a reply letter if i had read any cool comic books recently and i wrote a lil blurb on that. tucker's always saying kody's house has weird vibes so i called him out on insulting my best bud, but i still sent him a cherry. writing letters to mira has also seemed to warm her up to me; she used to get annoyed quickly when i talked to her ~4 times a day but now we're friends.

so do u write letters to ur villagers? if so, do u actually write out something, or do u just say something random and send it off?

i have! i wrote my starter villagers a letter on the first day i could and i sent each of my 3 random move-ins a letter to welcome them! i also sent kid cat a wreath and he put it on his door this morning

I love writing letters to my villagers. I always talk to them about something. I have noticed that they don't seem to mail back as often as in New Leaf, but I think I prefer that.

I sent welcome letters and some responses to others. I hope they don't show them to other people otherwise that would be embarrassing lol. I usually pretend I'm actually writing to someone instead of sending blank letters with presents in them.

I have not. I've never really liked typing in animal crossing because it takes too long and too much effort. I've sent mail to friends though!

ive also sent mail to my friends. i think that that mail gets sent within the day?? but ive no way to confirm that.

i wonder if using the nintendo switch app on a phone can allow u to text a letter?? in acnl i didnt like sending mail because it was so hard to type, but ive been using my keyboard in acnh & its rly nice. its only today that i realized i couldve used my phone to talk to friends in game this whole time. ive just been sitting on my couch hunched over a keyboard because its not a wireless one so i have to dock my switch lol

Yep, I write my villagers letters pretty often. I love though that we can now send letters to real friends.

I sent letter with gifts everyday to everyone. I write nice notes or poems.

I think they get it within minutes. Definitely within the day though, as my friends have responded quite quickly to it.

If we can use the phone, that would be awesome! I've been using the keyboard for letters because I didn't think to check the app.

I've written to my two starters as soon as I was able to, but other then that not really. Though I rarely wrote to villagers before in New Leaf, so thats not suprising

I usually don't, but I should start doing that daily to get my miles milestones and also to build friendship with my villagers!!

Except for Hazel... Hazel gets nothing.
