Having two islands is definitely useful!

I just went out and bought a second copy of Animal Crossing solely for time traveling and when I get the restart urge I can reset to my heart's content without losing my main island.

Well I realized how helpful it is to have a second island for a whole different reason. That reason is DIYs. A DIY I was looking for on my main island (the wooden block bench) showed up on my second island and I just traveled to my other island to get the DIY.

Just like with Amiibo cards, I oughta slap myself for waiting too long. But then again, things do cost money. XD

It took me a bit to realize I had to use local play to visit my own island. XD

If a whole new console wasn't needed to have two islands, I think alot of people would have bought an additional game even if it is $60 USA instead of the 30 or 40 it was with newleaf.
