Guest, you're invited to help build our new TBT time capsule! It contains three parts, with some of its elements planned to open in 2029 and others not until the distant future of 2034. Get started in 2024 Community Time Capsule: Blueprints.
None, my island is still in progress as some areas look flattened. Its a mess filled with patterns, items on the floor, trees and flowers all over the place. There are completed looking areas, but im not finished working on my island.
I am content with my island at the time being, but I wouldn't say it is completed yet...
I would prefer more organization for my flowers and to also create a type of zen garden with the stones I have on my island, but that is too much work for me to do at this time
It's a big fat zero for me as well LOL. I never even completed my town in New Leaf, which I had a decade to figure out and still haven't lol. Tbf it was mostly done, but I remember having some second thoughts on villagers and house placements before I stopped playing.
As for New Horizons... there's just way more to do since terraforming is a thing. The customization is so overwhelming to me. I appreciate the freedom, but because of how free we can be with everything, I find that I only ever go through a big terraforming/decorating phase once or twice a year. I've gotten small bursts of motivation and have played consecutively for a few months, but my interest always fizzles out and I usually take breaks that can last up to a few months. I've had the same island since June 2020 iirc (we don't talk about the island I had from March-May 2020 skfkgk), and while I've made some decent progress, it still feels far from done. It doesn't help that I get indecisive and like to completely change my terraforming lol. I think I'm mostly settled on what I've done, but my island's definitely gone through many terraforming changes. I honestly wish I had a timelapse of my progression from start until now lol.
But yeah with that said, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the next game came out and I still wasn't done my island lol.
If asked a couple years ago I would've said one, but now I'd say zero.
I considered my main island complete for a good few years, but a while back I got it in my head to do some rearranging and terraforming. I haven't gotten around to that yet, though. Eventually! Probably. Maybe?
I also have a second island that I want to create but have been held up by the fact that I'm terrible at naming things and haven't come up with one yet. So, since I haven't even started it, obviously nowhere near completion.
I feel like I can never truly "complete" an island. But! That is the beauty of Animal Crossing in general. I never felt like I had to "complete" my NL town either. Of course, starting over again in NH wasn't easy and it will take me a while to get most of the DIY recipes I used to have in my old island but...that's also relaxing to me. Its not something that I have to rush and do right away.
I haven’t finished any; I barely started my second island and when I do grt back to playing it, I’ll reset again since it has been too long since I touched it.
I’m honestly in no hurry to complete it and am just enjoying taking my time still.
I have answered maybe a little optimistically and said one I know that my island isn’t perfect or maybe complete to other peoples standards but I am happy with my little Bayside and honestly don’t think there is much left that I want to do (apart from finish the museum but the bugs will never be finished as I am scared of spiders )
I can’t imagine ever resetting as I have spent way too many hours on this
I’ve completed one island, then started over. Still not done with my second island and not sure I ever will be, because I leave an area unfinished for future tbt event builds
i've completed two islands (launch island + reset in late 2021). i reset for a third time around spring of this year since i thought i'd done all i wanted to do on my second island. also reset since i wanted to try and do a limited/no terraform island. i haven't made progress other than reaching the unlock of harv's island for an event from the fair.
there's a chance that i might hit up another acnh wave by the end of the year, but for now it'll just be for forum events !
I've flattened my island several times, but have never actually gotten it to the "completed" stage. There’s always something I find I don't like, or want to change.
I have fully completed 1 island, and then lost my Switch early this year. I’ve been so devastated about it, that I haven’t been motivated to restart another island & doing it all over again. I had such wonderful memories with my first.
Zero!! lolll, Ive had the same island I made right at launch, and the closest I probably actually came to completing it I think was my first island because I grinded to get to 5 stars by decorating a bunch of small areas but they were really rushed and honestly probably only filled like half of the islands actual space. Ive then completely flattened I think twice? and Ive gone through like 5 or 6 huge changes, I'm pretty happy with where I'm at now, idk when Ill actually get to finishing lol
