So I have gone through 3-4 pairs of headphones over the last year or so. Idk why they break so easily and so often but it's getting annoying. I would buy a new pair, maybe wireless cause it's always the cord that seems to break, but I'm kind of on a limited budget so I can't spend a bunch of money on a pair of quality wireless headphones.

Does anyone have recommendations on an affordable pair of quality headphones that won't break in 2 months? I've considered the wireless SkullCandy headphones but they run about $50 so it's kind of a last resort for me.

Thanks for looking! :)

No wireless recommendations unfortunately, but my DT 240 PROs have been going great for about six months now. Very durable with soft padding and a nice amount of noise cancellation and sound quality. I can wear them all day with no problem! One of the best points about it is that the wire is detachable, so if it becomes damaged you can easily replace it. They go for $64 USD currently. Good luck on your search!

I have some skullcandy ones I use as a backup pair that I like! My primary pair are wireless and have retractable earbud thingys. They’re a pair of tones I’ve had for many years. Sadly I think they are around $100. But skullcandy isn’t a bad choice for cheaper! I like having wireless because it is more convenient.

I would recommend the pair I use, Kraken from Razor. Sadly, again, it's around $75 so...

I normally don't spend that much but I ended up getting lucky and only had to pay $5 for mine :D They're amazing quality and comfortable to boot

Oh wait. I’m a dummy. Did you want headphone for your phone or computer?

I've been using the same pair of cheap Sony headphones for approximately 5 years now. I assumed they would break after a few months but apparently they're indestructible. No idea what they are, other than that they're cheap and have "SONY" written on them.

Perhaps try the Altec Lansing Evolution 2? It's $59 in Canada but I assume the price is lower if you live in the U.S. Beware though, they can't be adjusted according to head size so if you have a big head, you're not gonna have a good time. I'm not sure if you're also concerned with the comfort of headphones because the one I mentioned can take some time to get used to.

They're for my phone/MP3 Player.

Looks like I prob won't be able to get a good pair cheap, so I'll prob save up some money over the next few months and invest in a more expensive one. I would say that I definitely prefer earbuds (i tend to call them headphones as an umbrella term).

Okay good! Based off other suggestions I thought you might have meant computer headphones.

Obviously the more you spend the better quality and longevity you should get. Honestly I've had my Tones for well over 3 years now. I might need to replace them soon because the sounds keeps getting randomly low in the left earpiece but other than that, they still work great!
