I'm pretty neurotic, so I would definitely want to try it out! And I say this as someone who's not really app-focused when it comes to my phone. It looks really nice visually, too.

I'd like to add that a list I have been looking for and would absolutely love to have would be a list of what each of the villagers unlock, item and clothes wise. I know that it would take a long time to make so I'm sure that's why I haven't found one yet lol. But that would eventually be a cool feature to add to the app I think.
