I’m curious if anyone uses the HHP showcase. I haven’t yet but I’ve been thinking about it. I like sharing what I’ve done on here, but sharing it with everyone, I’m not sure about yet even though I’m really proud of my designs and part of me wants to share it.
When I share them on here, sometimes no one sees it or reacts, so I’m wondering, even with more people looking at it, if they’ll even like it? I worry too about people copying, which I know is kinda silly.
i use it! i love updating it from time to time with the designs that i'm most proud of ( ´ ˘ ` ) it's more for me than anything haha
i have plans in the future to use it as a way to continue the lore of my island since i only plan on flattening the island instead of resetting, i'm too attached to my villagers now but i would like to explore the idea of new villagers that would fit the aesthetic/theme more ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و
I have thought about sharing some of mine but have not. I’m not to confident in my designs to share. I like making them just worry they don’t look very good.
Nah. I'm a private person in most regards and the thought hadn't even occurred to me until seeing this thread, honestly. I never really utilize the Dream Suite either outside of when events here on the forums require us to do so. That said, there are some HHP homes that I've made that I'm proud of and might post someday, I dunno. Maybe eventually.
I've utilized it a few times because I think it's nice. I've made plenty of vacation homes and I like to upload the ones I'm the most proud of to the Showroom. Even though they may seem like nothing compared to all the other cool homes, I had a lot of fun making them either way.
It's where you go to in the Happy Home Network app on your NookPhone to look at vacation homes uploaded online. Basically you can upload your vacation homes to the Showcase (officially known as the Showroom), then you share it with people that way. In your Showcase profile you can select a home you uploaded, and then you can press a button to "Share on Social". I'm pretty sure that's what you mean by "the hhp share with people thing." I hope I explained this correctly.
Oh that thing! Yes I did too , very little, I made a domus. I have a good friend that plays somewhat rarely and I was hoping she'd be able to visit some of the places I made during one of the rare times she's up to it and vice versa, since our schedules don't tend to align a lot. But I don't have a lot up there since there's very little I made fancy enuff to have any value to someone besides me and I. Mostly focusing on adding moar stuff to the island..
Unfortunately tho I made some of my best stuff on profiles that don't have Nintendo online because those characters had a certain theme and the inspiration bug hit me. O' acnh recreation of old school RuneScape wizard tower for one wizard, thou shall never see the light of day :3
So, after figuring out what the hhp showcase is, uhm no, I haven't posted anything there.
Now that i know about it, I still don't think I'll post anything. Designing is hard for me, and i don't really do a great job. So i like to keep my feeble efforts a bit more private. I put a few things here on tbt, like in the island journal and a couple threads.
And i have a tough time with creativity in HHP. No idea why. Example - i named all the buildings "paradise x". Paradise school, Paradise Cafe.. so unoriginal, haha.
I've only posted one house to my HHP Showcase. It was Rocco's house (later roomed him with Cyrano) and the inside is what I consider to be my best work thus far:
I could post more houses to the Showcase if I wanted to, but many of the existing ones are likely going to need an overhaul. I'm also limited on custom design spots, so there's that.
i had no clue this was a feature. maybe one day if i actually go back and redo my showcases cause ngl i blasted through the hhp DLC by placing furniture randomly cause the system will accept it all the same as a nicely decorated room haha. i just wanted to speedrun and unlock designing houses for my own island
When the feature was introduced to me in the game I think I put up a few I had that I liked? But then I kinda forgot it was a thing, I like being able to see all the houses i've done but I can see that in my own catalogue Idk if I need to post them publicly really
I mainly put in the ones I am most proud of, plus that I have spent a lot of time on.
For instance, Mollys HHP, I challenged myself with hers by making it a small room but stilll functional at what she wanted. I think her's was like to have a publishing house, but I wanted it small and easy to manage. I think I made hers about plants and flowers. So, she had a corner of plants shes growing, and added two desks as if some villagers work there as well as an upstairs break room that has a dressing room and such.
I do, I honestly think it’s very fun to do. The last time I did anything to HHP showroom was with Raddle’s house. He wanted a mad scientist lab, and I GIFTED him one.
I do want to do it again at some point, but I’m too lazy to make one.
No, I don't really use it because I don't think my decorating skills are that good. Maybe if I managed to make something I really liked then I'd use it
so unoriginal, haha.
