HHP question

I recently restarted my island, and today my Resident Services reopened as a building. I played for a little bit and built the campsite, then closed the game and bought the DLC from Nintendo eShop. When I logged back on, nothing happened other than I found a Paradise Planning photo in my mail. Since it is the first day with Resident Services, and Tom Nook still did the island broadcast, does this mean I will not get the call from Tom Nook and be able to play it until tomorrow? Or do I have to have unlocked KK Slider first?

i believe you do have to unlock kk slider first

I looked on the Nintendo website and it says you just have to have resident services as a building, so hoping it works tomorrow

These are the basic requirements for the HHP DLC:

• Upgrade your tent to a house.
• Completed the customization workshop with Tom Nook.
• Upgrade Resident Services to a building.

Tom Nook will call to introduce Lottie, then you can start the DLC.

Since it is indeed the first day of upgrading the RS building, you do need to wait until tomorrow.
