I just made it, and she's sleeping I don't think I can't buy anything because she's sleeping. She's a villager on my town so maybe that's why she's also sleeping here? She's not waking up is this normal? Like are they supposed to be sleeping if you made the shop late at night?

I have seen this happen on my game like last week with Claude, he lives on my island and was asleep (on the island) around the time when I saw him at the shop.

He was visiting; Ketchup is the shop owner.

Haha mine do this. The most irresponsible of the bunch is Chevre, the hospital receptionist. She won't even go and sneak in a nap behind her desk, she just stands in the middle of the waiting room snoring away.

Whenever I see this I just go "So laying down on a the job eh? Well then you're fired!" and then I pick a different villager who knows how to keep working and not sleep around. I know that sounds a bit harsh, but take my advice never hire lazy villagers because they fall asleep most of the time.
