Hi everyone! Not a NH player yet, but ACNL is my favorite game :)

It's so good to have joined this forum!! Animal Crossing has been a favorite since I was a kid, but I've been on a big kick lately replaying New Leaf & Wild World on the side.

My name is Alex, or Mayor Bean You can use they/them or he/him to refer to me. I'm 23 and a Pisces.

I'm really looking forward to making new friends in ACNL & playing or trading together, and my activity on these forums will probably increase once I own a Nintendo Switch, and AC:NH as well. If I was a villager, I would probably be Cranky type with the Music hobby. My favorite fruits are peaches. How about you?

I agree! It is relatively active considering it is a forum. How soon do you expect to pick up New Horizons?

Hopefully around Christmas, or early next year! I wish it could be sooner, but I've got my eyes on the Switch OLED model (the Lite was so tempting, but in the end it doesn't suit my needs), saving Bells in the real life bank it is... Haha.

How long have you been playing? I've heard a number of people say New Horizons lacks a lot of things that were enjoyable from previous installments, but it still seems like loads of fun

I got it a week after release. It was literally sold out everywhere, so my last resort was ordering online and waiting for it to be shipped. Yes, New Horizons does lack things, but it’s still a fun game. Your villagers don’t move out without getting your permission first, so if you take a break, you won’t have to worry about your favorite villagers moving away. I think this was a great feature, and really eases your mind if you do need a break.

It is hard to pick just 1 fruit! Cherries are my favorite berry, it would've been fun if they included even more kinds of berries in the games. New Leaf is a great game, if you ever get a chance you should give it a try for sure!!

I unfortunately do not have WiFi right now, but I could definitely add you if I do end up getting it sometime in the future, but it is not my main priority right now. Although, I’ll definitely see you around the forums. This site does host events quite frequently, and they’re honestly lots of fun.

i’m so glad to hear that you’re enjoying new leaf and wild world! i haven’t played those games in ages myself aha, but they’re definitely incredible and very fun! wild world was actually my introduction to the series. i hope you’re able to get a switch and new horizons soon, too!

if i were a villager, my personality would honestly probably be a mixture of every personality except for jock lol, but most prominently cranky, lazy and normal . i’d probably have either the music, nature or education hobby as well! as for fruit, i honestly like way too many to have just one favourite, but i especially love peaches, plums, bananas, cherries, strawberries and raspberries! in-game, though, my favourites definitely have to be peaches and apples!

anyways, i hope you’ll enjoy your time here! i’m very much so looking forward to seeing you around! ^_^
