Friday the 18th from 8pm to 11 pm I am going to be playing March 3rd which is Hinamatsuri, know in English as Girl's day or Doll's Day. It is a day where dolls are displayed to show the dress and customs of the Heian period. At Shinto shrines dolls are also used to help ward away evil. Hishimochi (a diamond shaped colored rice cake) is a traditional treat served on the day.
What you will get if you come over:
- Hishimochi rice cake from Isabelle/ Shizue
You can catalog the following order-able items. PLEASE do not keep them. If you do you are preventing others from cataloging.
- Hinaningyo (a display of dolls dressed in traditional clothing of the Heian period, as well as other traditional items).
- Blossom Lantern
- Emperor's Cap
- Girl's Day Updo
Time: Eastern Daylight time from 8pm until 11pm.
Rules:
- No running
- No stealing
- No chopping down trees or other mayhem
- Stay only 5 minutes to make room for others to come over- I will not be enforcing this: but please be courteous to others and not overstay or come more than once (unless you get booted from a wifi crash). There is only a 2 hour window for people to try and come over.
- I will probably not be able to greet/ talk to everyone that comes over- I am coming home from a vacation on Friday and will probably be doing laundry and other such return to home chores.
