Home visitors at most busy times

Not sure why, but my villagers have a knack for paying a visit to my house and wanting the full tour when I'm just trying to quickly get through my daily chores. Guess I need to get out of the habit of going home to put away inventory

The only reason why your villagers keep visiting your home is because you have a high friendship with them. When that happens you have a high chance of them coming to visit your home unexpected. I found out that if you have lower friendship with most villagers they would not bother you.

You can still quit the game and she'll not be inside the home anymore when you reboot the game.

You could do that, but sometimes I feel bad for closing the game when a villager wants to hang out. I don’t want them to think I don’t want to see them, lol. It’s a me problem.

True, but it does get annoying when you're trying to decorate your home and all of a sudden your villager interrupts you. Like I know this is a feature that people wanted for the longest time but lately it was just poorly executed. The way I see it I would just kick out the villager who has a high friendship and then invite someone else with a lower friendship to stop that from happening. I know that sounds harsh, but that is how I fix the problem if that were to happen to me.

ah yes I can relate!! Eric always pops in when I'm just trying to be in&out from my house.... I feel bad kicking him out by force but sometimes I'm just really in a rush, you know? XD

Not sure if this works for everyone but...

If you have a visitor, open your wardrobe (not the inventory/storage, interact with a dresser) and change clothes. They tend to leave immediately.

It might just be me. But I always do this and they just leave for some reason. Someone else could try and see if it works. This doesn't work for visitors that you actually invited though.
