I hate gorey horror, or horror with gratuitous violence. It's boring and gross,not scary. I've seen the first Saw movie, but I won't see any of the others, nor will I watch the Purge movies. I don't understand why they keep getting sequels. They seem so boring to me.
I do, however, really love psychological or supernatural horror. Something old school with jump scares or unexplained happenings. Maybe a monster or two at the end. I love that kind of stuff. I'm more into setting up the mood of horror rather than IN UR FACE BLOOD AND GUTS AND SLASHERS OMG.
I find I can't do the slasher horror movies. I prefer more of the supernatural style of horror, like the conjuring. I am actually very excited to see the Nun in theaters, as well as IT Chapter 2!!

my favorite movies are the jigsaw films and i grew up with courage the cowardly dog as a show.
I love courage the cowardly dog! I remember an episode that scared me so much haha!
Was it the King Ramsey one? I heard it scared some people including me.
I will not be able to handle horror movies if I ever see one. I got scared enough during Jurassic World and would die watching a horror movie
Omg YESSSSS!! THAT ONE! it scared the hell out of me when I was 7 xD
I'm sad no one mentioned little shop of horrors.... ;-;
I love horror movies! I usually prefer old movies like the first Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street - the list goes on. I also really love some of old black & white horror films. One of my faves is The Tingler with Vincent Price. The first time I saw The Tingler I was sitting in the dark in my room. Perfect set up to see that movie & I didn't even realize it. lol!
