The plot is...

A mysterious series of events has landed some unlikely teenagers into a strange vine-covered garden with smartphones lying all over the floor. As they look up, they see human-sized tangled masses of vines. The indigenous people, known as the Vinecrafters, have managed to make use of these strange vines, and built entire villages out of them. But, the teen heroes notice a dark, disturbing presence, as if there is a secret to these vines.

This being a roleplay that parodies (albeit darkly) the concept of Vine-branded six-second videos and their popularity comparable to BUGS BUNNY of all things by comparing them to literal vines that ensnare and brainwash victims to do their bidding, morphing the victim's face into a permanent Stepfordian Un-Smile with eyes wide open, fixated on YOU.
