Running around taking care of Salem this morning, Roald pinged me to say that he heard Rocket was considering moving out. I had to blink at the screen a few times, just to be sure I was reading it correctly.

Saying goodbye to roly-poly Penguin-boy, I rushed over to Rocket's house. She was outside, but I couldn't get the ping. Darn that Roald for getting my hopes up! I decided to save and quit, thinking that might trigger it. I came back out of my house, headed over behind Rocket's and Beardo's houses to the little park located there. And there was Rocket, strolling along with her pink umbrella. As soon as I came around in front of her, I heard that sound.

*PING*

She told me that she needed to move on, it had been great living in Salem, but it was just time. I couldn't have said it better, myself. She'll be leaving on the 19th. Now I'm scrambling to get some smaller PWPs set up in strategic areas, so I don't lose my established paths. If I'm lucky, I can get the new villager (I'm thinking of maybe going with another Lazy male) to move in where Rocket's house currently stands.

Wishing the pink gorilla luck in her new life, and looking forward to welcoming a new villager to Salem soon.

Maybe this will trigger a trend for gorillas to move out. *coughAlcough* ;)

Yay!! I'm so glad for you. She must have been a pain. I didn't know she was a gorilla, otherwise I'd have sympathized with you so much more. xD

I'm glad, but I'm also a little sad. I hate any villager moving, but I think it's best she goes.

Oh, so she did decide to move out! At least this will set you up some room for another villager you'd like to have in Salem. :)

I was completely surprised by it. I'm looking over villager lists to see who I'd like to invite in.
