So, how people actually bringing over millions bells to other people's islands if you aren't allow to use other people's ABD? Really though it would be really slow to keep coming back and forth to someone's island to drop the bells. With no guarantee that the trader will even come back to give the rest of the bells.

I mean, inventory space is a lot bigger than it used to be. But perhaps people are putting bell bags in their inventory and people are pulling it from their invo in other people's towns. Since you can put furniture outside now, I suppose people can put things to access inventory though that way?

I think they are honestly just going back and forth in that case. and it's a matter of trust between buyer and seller

i would like to know this too, considering max inventory allows you to carry like 3.9m at once only

You can’t use the ABD at other people’s towns? Man that’s some hard stuff
I swear I thought they’d have implemented a better trade system seeing how prevalent it was in NL.

The optimistic answer is they spend a TON of time fishing and bug hunting in the current month. The less optimistic answer is they TT, and spend a TON of time fishing and bug hunting in a month that has rarer - and more expensive - fauna. The most likely answer is these were the folks duping 99k bags of bells. Nintendo released a patch in an effort to plug some holes, but they can't get them all.

To answer the question I initially missed, hard to say, unless the person paying the amount has a ton of trust in the seller, and goes back and forth to their map to get more bells. Again, the most likely answer is duping bells on the spot.

I don't think the question was how they ended up with all that money in the first place, but the logistical issue of how to transfer that much money when doing a trade for a huge amount of money

Yeah you aren't able to because it says when you use the ABD "you arent a resident of ____'s island"

Yeah, I read the thread title, and not so much the post. I edited my response to include both.

I figured as well, but nothing oh well if its the only method. I hope they actually give us that feature back to use the ABD on other people's island's again

I actually came here thinking the question was what you'd initially answered, so thank you for responding in that way. I haven't ever been able to make more than ~300k on my own these weeks, so it shocked me to see things selling for so much on this forum!!
