i’d say i’m decently close!

i finished my fossil exhibit last summer, and i need 5 more bugs to complete my bug encyclopedia & museum section. i need 4 more fish and 4 more critters to complete the encyclopedia and museum exhibit. although i do need a fair amount of art (like 25 more things) to finish my art exhibit since redd rarely stops by (though he did yesterday!!)

i’m curious, have you finished your museum/gotten close to?

im pretty close too. i need a few bugs and fish but have finished the art and dino bits of it. if you have switch online i have the beautiful state, the dynamic painting, the tremendous statue that i can give to you if you need them!

I completed the fossil and fish sections a while ago and am very close to completing the remaining sections.

I need a Golden Beetle for the bugs, saw it for the first time last night but accidentally scared it away, and the Rock Head and Valiant Statues which Redd never seems to bring when visiting.

I finished my art and fossil sections months ago. I don’t think I have too much left for bugs and fish, but I am not looking to finish them anytime soon since I can’t get myself to play and when I can I don’t feel like fishing and catching the needed bugs if available.

that’s so kind!! unfortunately, i already have all 3 of those, but thank you for the offer :)

I finished the fossil section pretty quickly, and my art section is at least 3/4 done. I got a lot of my art from people on TBT. 😊

I fill out the fish and bugs occasionally as I play, but I would have no idea how many more of each I need. I'm not too worried about it. 😊

i bought a decent amount of my fossils off of the forums, while also finding a lot of my own 😄 i wanted to get it out of the way before gyroids come to the game, so i don’t constantly dig those up

I finished mine a little while ago, the ones that evaded me the longest were Barrel Eye, Spider crab, Mysterious painting, and of course the flea which took me like 1700 hours come across
haha! i “accidentally” caught the barreleye trying to catch a simple anchovy, which i sold before i donated 😭

I’ve completed the fossils, bug, and fish sections (in that order). Edit- oops, forgot sea creatures - finished those around March, around the same time I finished with the fish!

I don’t exactly know how much of the art section I have left to go. Though a couple times I have visited a friend’s or my husband’s island (back when he played) when redd was visiting to buy extra pieces of real art, mostly I am not bothered enough to go out of my way more than that. I know they say it will take a long time to complete if you are waiting for redd to show up and not time traveling much, but it doesn’t bother me now that I realize I will likely be playing long term, so there is really no rush.

I finished the museum on my main island. No where near complete on my second island. I’m taking my time with the second island. Thinking the barreleye and cicada shell will give me the most problems. Barreleye was one of the first fish I caught and have not seen another one.

I've finished the fossils. I need 1 fish, 1 sea creature, and 7 pieces of art. I hope to have everything except the art in the next week or so. I've been playing since release day, but I was not very focused on catching fish the first few months.

SO close. I finished the fossil and fish section and I've only got like 5 more bugs to go and 2 more pieces of art, it's just hard waiting for redd to show up as well as grinding on nook miles islands constantly to try and get one of the really rare bugs I need

I finished my museum forever ago. I was able to finish the fossil section first sometime in April 2020 (most fossils my own, a few were from friends, a few were from here), then the art section in June 2020 (almost all art gotten through TBT, lmao), then the fish on Dec. 1, 2020, then the bug section a few days later on Dec. 11, then finally the sea creatures/water creatures section on Mar. 1.

I only finished the fossil section of the Museum. I still have SO much work to do for everything else.

I seem to be pretty far in given I've only been playing for about 3 months. Fossiles I finished on my own and I've been diligent with the fish, bugs, and sea creatures. A friend gave me a huge head start on the art, though I'm less concerned with that in general. Other than the scorpion and the marline, I'm caught up for April, May, June, and July. (I think April, I'd need to check.)
