I'm trying to make a cycling thread with someone and is there a way to add them so they can edit title?

Nope, I don't think you can make people 'mods' (or whatever you'd rather call it) on your thread. However, you could make a main post and get them to reserve posts while they type up their introduction. That way you're all using the same thread, but each have your own section to edit. :)

Nope. When I used to cycle with a few friends, we were trying to see if it were possible to make a cycling account that we'd only use to update the title. However, after asking the mods, we ended up not making that account. I would advise that whoever makes the thread, that they're relatively active on TBT, just so the thread title is more or less updated.

If that person won't be around, make sure that the title doesn't have a villager's name on it, since you can easily confuse people. Like Yui Z said, you can have the members of your group post on the thread so they have a post to edit. That's what my group did. I made the main post, and making sure every one else posted before I officially opened the thread to everyone.

Like, have the post & title said that only group members post at this time, so it'll be less likely some random person will post. OR you can do what I did and just lock the thread after each person posts. Granted, that only works if you keep constant contact with your group.

Communication is VERY important in a group. A lot of groups fail because of a lack of communication between members. One huge reason my group lasted as long as it did was because we kept in contact with each other and we all got along extremely well.

I suppose I'm the one thats very active (I think) but would people not care about the cycling thread even without the villagers name? I see that it confuses people. Well, should we type the html and stuff first and preview what it looks like before you offically open it (if thats what you mean by opening to everyone)

Yeah I see like (DON'T POST PLEASE) how can you edit when the thread is locked though?
