How do I get Downloadable Content?

I have my WiiConnect24 turned on both in my Wii Settings and Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City settings and once I did that, I'm supposed to get a Red Pikmin hat from Pete outside my house one morning, the problem is that I haven't got one for three days and I'm starting to wonder if I'm missing anything that I haven't done as I know I have WiiConnect24 on, so if anyone knows why I might not be getting anything and could help me solve this, you can have my Red Pikmin hat for free, no charge.

Only from japan-UK has got it if your USA then you cant get it.

The had to be on when it got released. If it wasn't on before then, then you can't get it.

thanks, but i've already gotten one a long time ago. =) just keep that wiiconnect24 on and you'll be good with DLC in the future... also, just so you know, you need to have that one to be able to recieve in-game mail from your friends. this may only be if they send mail while you're not on, but i'd keep it on just to be safe. <3
