How do I get rid of my nickname?

So yesterday I got Wild World and I started talking with Tabby after a while, and she asked me if I wanted to hear my new nickname. I was all like, "Sure, why not", and clicked yes. She told me it was cookie, and it wasn't bugging me much as nobody called me that often, but now almost everyone is. Even Cesar! How can I get rid of it?

Or, I noticed that if you shove them into pitfalls, or make them angry, they get rid of the nickname.

Once I had the worse starter neghbours in WW and I was so mad so yeah, I hated them :3

Some nicknames are awful.
Cookie being one of them.
I had a neighbor call me C-Cat!
My character name being Cynthia.
They took my initial and added -Cat to it.
I hate those kind of nicknames.

I was always pretty lucky with nicknames. But just a tip, as well. You will most likely get a cutesy name if the neighbor who suggests it is a girl. If you have a boy neighbor give you a nickname, it'll be a generic one.

I always ended up getting stuff like DJ. G or Snappy G, G-bot.

I got stuff like "L-star" "Sporty-L" all that crap, i didn't mind 'cause i never talk(ed) to my villagers unless they had the expression and came to talk to me haha

I only talk to them if i like them. I really love Kody and Nan, so I'd only talk to them - just so they don't move

as for donations, i guess you'd have to use your own money to upgrade.
