How do I know if I’m necromancing a thread?

Aside from a thread being inactive for weeks or months, what other factors are taken that is considered necromancing it? Just curious.

My advice is don't worry about it. If it's only a few months old and there isn't a newer thread, by all means bring it up. Perhaps make a new one if the last post was years ago, but usually people don't look that far back anyway.

I've seen people complain about threads being revived only a few months later, and I've seen others who hate seeing so many threads for the same topic. It's impossible to please everyone, so just follow the forum rules and your own discretion.

honestly no one really cares. stuff that's years old gets bumped all the time and rarely is anything ever done about it. Just post in what you want, you'll be fine. :)
