How do I obtain seashells?

I noticed in the shop that there's a separate shop that involves sea shells. However, I don't have any, I never did and I'm not sure how to obtain any. Any help would be greatly appreciate when answering my question.

op is asking where the **** you get seashells and none of you answered that when you could have-.- anyway to op: you cant get seashells. only new members who joined from nov/dec 2015 onward get them.

I got 10 seashells when I created my account earlier this month. I don't believe there's a way to get more than that, though I did notice in passing that there is one admin/mod who has 11 while everyone else has 10 (there's a tally in the sidebar of that shop which shows who has the most).

they're only for newer members, anyone who joined past october 2015, to replace welcome bells. you can't send them to anyone or receive them unless you're new, and you can't have any more than 10. c:​
