what position do you draw in? lol this sounds weird but what i mean is, when drawing, do you grab your sketchbook and just draw away in your bed, or if you're a digital artist, do you have a certain setup in which you draw in?

since im a digital artist i draw with my little chair at my desk. my desk has a slidey compartment thats supposed to hold a keyboard, but i find it convenient to put my tablet there. and when im doing drawings on irl, i like to take my sketchbook and sit in my giant cozy chair and light a bunch of candles. i feel like this also motivates you more and keeps you on track when drawing!!

usually on a table or desk tho i sketch in sketchbopks too. very rarely do digital art but when i do i have my tablet on my desk bc my computer is a desktop so yeee

on my desktop computer @ my desk...and now that i ahave a new laptopisometimes pixel while lying down

wow i thought i was the only one who made pixels with just my mouse pad. yeah its definitely more relaxing to just make pixels in bed rather than sit at a desk

I draw with my tablet more often now, and i wish i had a desk. I also have 2 books, and some pens. I haven't in a while tho.

I'll usually sit in a chair and draw with sketchbook in hand. I have a tablet, but my hand/mind struggles to get used to it.

If I'm drawing traditionally, as long as I have a flat surface to work with, I'll draw anywhere. I'll use a table or desk, but if none of those are an option I'll just use my clipboard and draw on paper. If I'm drawing digitally, It's either with my laptop or my computer. Most days I draw with my tablet on my laptop if there's any tables available. I don't need a specific set up to draw in general

lightboxes are everything. i always use one, even if i'm just doodling. they make hand drawing a lot easier as you can see what you're doing, whereas if you were in a dingy dark room you'd be unable to see completely clearly but ya idk it makes me feel like i'm in control of what i'm drawing if that makes sense? ;)

pencil, paint and pen sometimes. i had a drawing tablet but it broke around a year ago, it was pretty expensive too...

I sit in bed to sketch but when I want to line or color my art I sit at my desk

It depends on how focused I need to be on what I'm doing. If it's just sketching or planning I'll sit in bed with my laptop on my legs and draw. I can do either digitally or paper that way, I'll just use my laptop as a little table. I have a desk I use sometimes too but my dog likes sitting with me and whines if he can't reach me.

usually when i'm sitting down on a chair or something, i don't draw on my bed, i always draw sitting down in the feet on the floor and sitting on something position with a table.

I hope you guys like my rendition of Patrick Star.

On my bed. I have a laptop so I just set the tablet in my lap. Not the best set up but my family has been moving a lot recently so getting another furniture piece to move for a desk to move seven more times isn't happening right now XD

I do everything on my desk. Usually for quick thumbnails I'll sketch anywhere but I'm most comfortable when my desk is tidy and I'm in the zone to draw. Tidy desk tidy mind :'D While I work mostly traditionally, I do a lot of finishing touches on the computer.

for digital art i set it up on my desk to the right of my mac, and then the keyboard to my left

for traditional art, i will draw on the couch, laying in bed, at my desk, at school etc. and i bring my pencil case with me
