How do you get the rest of the crops?

Okay so I know the update just came out but I am having some trouble getting the new crops. I went to Harvs island and built Leif's new shop and it seems like the only crops he's selling are Sugarcane and Pumpkins. I want everyone to know I have a lot of pumpkins on my island from last year and the only new crop I got was sugarcane. So I want to know how do you get the other crops? I saw someone getting them from Kapp'n when on tour, but I went on tour today and he took me to an island that had only pumpkins on it. Am I missing something? Please help!

This article mentions you can buy carrots from Leif, as well, so I assume he sells them randomly, like he does with flowers and out-of-season bushes.

Lief today (Harv's Island) had carrots and sugarcane for me, so based on that it's pretty safe to assume his stock changes daily like other shops.

Hmm strange. I time traveled a few days on my 2nd island and he was still selling the pumpkins and sugarcane.

Okay update: I just went on my main island Destiny that had Leif's shop build on Harvs island and I got Pumpkins and Carrots this time.

on another thread, some of us were talking about how it seems when you TT the item stock on Harv’s Island doesn’t change. So that is probably why you were seeing the same items. (Unless others have TTed and this didn’t happen to them)

I found wheat on one of the Kapp'n tours right now, but that's the only one I've found so far. Haven't actually found pumpkins (or any other crops) on one of his islands, though.
If you're willing to TT, maybe Kapp'n's trips could help?

Leif today at the campsite gave me carrots and wheat. I think every day is completely random what he gives you.
