i generally make sure all of my texts are properly capitalized and junk, unless i'm texting one of my friends or a close family member. i also a lot of punctuation and a mix of western and Japanese styled emoticons to show how i'm feeling because i hate the look of actual emoji's......
in terms of texting abbreviations i use lmao, lol, btw, and idk a lot.
Generally I use full sentences with the occasional emoji to clarify or emphasize the emotion of the sentence. If I am being silly though I will purposely misspell and use chat abbreviations. I never have 'emoji conversations' though, and I usually don't understand what they mean when I see them! XD I am old! ;P
I generally text my friends in sentence fragments with emojis sparsely used, but on TBT I try to sound "smart" so I'll try my best to use full sentences with emojis sometimes.
I abbreviate you to u a lot, that kinda stuff (donno, idk, btw etc.). I'm a seriously lazy texter though. I rarely text people (unless it's for work) because I can't be bothered. I'm definitely one of those people who say "lol" when they don't know what to say.
When I'm chatting on the computer I usually write out full words, mainly because of muscle memory when typing.
It depends on who I'm talking to and the current mood I'm in. Sometimes I'll use perfect grammar, spelling, no abbreviations, and very few emojis, and sometimes I overuse emojis and abbreviations.
Depends on the person I'm speaking to, honestly. On here I'm almost always using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. If I'm talking to close friends I'm a lot less anxious about stuff like that.
I use perfect grammar and a emoji at the end usually, but sometimes I'll shorten stuff or whatever for convenience or to be funny. Depends on the mood or who I'm talking to, though.
