How do you treat each month’s temperature in terms of your outfit?

Is In-Game March T-shirt or Sweater Weather?

I've gotten into the habit of checking the weather after moving to a new state, as the weather here is... far less predictable than in my hometown. Seventy degree days in the middle of February? It's possible. Catch me running to class in a coat, sweating my face off in eighty-degree weather.

The states that I'm used to living in had pretty harsh weather in all seasons -- brutal winters, scorching summers, brief and unpredictable spring/autumns -- and I honestly really enjoyed that. I like bundling up with scarves and sweaters in the winter and switching to dresses, shorts, and tank tops in the summer. The transition seasons are... tough to predict, but that first warm day after a long winter, or cool breeze after a long summer, make it all worth it.

March is indeed a transition season, and where I'm currently living, you can get away with a t-shirt on some days. Back home, though? Sweater, coat, and scarf weather.

I dress my rep in typically seasonally-appropriate clothing because it's fun, and I hoard clothing so I like to change my outfit every day. Now that the grass is out, I'll move from coats into warmer tops + pants... maybe dresses/skirts + tights... lots of possibilities here. ;)

I voted neither or both because it depends on how my local temperature is that day. If it is cloudy, rainy, and chilly, I put my rep in a sweater. If it’s sunny, then a dress or t-shirt it is!

Since I have four seasons in my country I tend to dress according to it's temperature. So in March I dress my representative in coats or raincoats if it's raining.

I change outfits semi-frequently, but it's not usually based on in-game weather. Mostly I just choose what I think looks nice. The exception is probably winter. I usually choose something that looks warm in winter. 😊

i change outfits for the season rather than each month (because i don't have the patience for that lol) but once the snow melts, the short sleeved spring outfit comes out. i respect those who change their outfits daily or based on in-game weather but i could never commit to that.

As soon as the snow melted I started wearing shorts again. But still wear a hoodie or a longer sleeved top. I get a little too specific when it comes to dressing my character for the weather, and March is still cold imo.

I usually only cycle twice. For spring/summer, fall/winter.

I’m from Mississippi and our weather is very sporadic, so one day it will be freezing, the next it’s really hot.

I change my character every so often. Sometimes in the spring she wears long sleeves, but in the winter it’s essential to keep them on.

I am wearing a short sleeve dress at the moment but when the game looks like its getting colder or if its raining in game I change my clothes to something more warm :)

my island representative's wearing shorts and a long-sleeve top at the moment. if it's raining or smth i'd change the fit. usually wear different sorts of clothes for autumn/winter and spring/summer. idk how i feel about wearing the same outfit in-game for more than a couple of days

i wouldn't wear shorts irl at the moment - it's not really been warm enough yet where i am.

For March (Spring in general), I wear both T-Shirts and Sweaters, depending on how I feel. Shorts and Pants are in the mix too! I like changing my outfit at least once a day, but I try to match it with the current season. For example, right now it's Fall and I like making my lil guy wear warm colored clothes or long sleeved stuff!
I wish the seasons where I live is as diverse as it is in ACNH =.=;

I change my character's outfit whenever I get a Miles+ goal to do so, and I'm fine with that because it lets me rotate through my huge selection of clothing while also getting me miles. I don't usually dress for the weather or season, but I also haven't played in winter yet so that might change when I see snowflakes in the game.

i generally am a cold person so i like to keep my island rep warm ☺️ i’ll keep an outfit saved on my wand for the off chance it’s a warmer day but typically she’ll be wearing a sweater or long sleeve

As Michigan is super close to this game's weather patterns, I usually dress up depending on the IRL weather that's outside where I live. However, I never use umbrellas or dress up in rain/snow gear.

I always change my outfit for the season, sometimes I change my outfit every time I start playing for the specific day's weather. Idk why but I need the outfit to always make sense and match the activity. If I put on a wetsuit I take off ALL other clothes, because the idea of the clothes getting wet drives me crazy. And the idea of dirt getting on my character's sleeves drives me crazy. And the idea of them being too cold or too hot drives me crazy. They have to be dressed for the weather! I do that in minecraft too, all of the skins I've made need the sleeve to be short enough that I can't see stuff hypothetically getting on my digital clothes. I also choose outfits I like and would/do wear irl.

I do tend to try to match my player characters' clothing to the current season on the island. It's not set in stone or anything though since you still have days or stretches of days sometimes within a given season which are unseasonably warm or cold. People also have their own individual tolerances when it comes to how they fare at any given temperature. So yeah, I allow for some variance here and there but generally tend to lean toward seasonally appropriate outfits.

The first thing I tend to do is change my character's outfit when I open my game. The outfits I pick can absolutely be dependent on the season and the weather where I am. If it's a cold day I'm more likely to bundle my character up in a sweater. I also like putting my character in a coat and boots if it's raining or snowing in the game. Still, sometimes I'll be in the mood to put my character in a witchy or princessy outfit regardless of the season when I'm craving more of a fantasy look. It all depends on how I'm feeling that day.

Weather isn’t much of a concern for me. I've no problem putting my character in a miniskirt with no leggings in the snow. It harkens back to a conversation between a Cranky and Peppy in WW, the former asking her about her clothes being short. The latter reassures him that she’s wearing a miniskirt because she considers looking stylish to be more important than being comfortable (skirts are typically both those things, anyway). I do miss the animations of your character shivering or sweating (depending on the weather) whenever you started the game if their attire didn't gel with the weather. Another nice detail from NL lost in NH.

i only change my character into short sleeves during the middle of summer (jan-feb for my southern hemisphere self) much like how i dress in real life! long pants and closed shoes year-round babey. sometimes i'll put him in the cropped pants with no socks if i'm feeling adventurous

I just have 2 of the same dress, one short version, and one long version. So i just switch to the long version in the colder months lol!
