How do you upload Animated images?

I see TONS of other people with gifs in their signature and it wont let me upload MY animated signature so I need a little help.

Upload it on imgur then put it in your sig.

Google the gif you want, right click the image and select "open image in new tab."

Copy that link and paste the link like you would for an image.

I tried but it wont let me open in a new tab
oh and I am not googling it it is a sig that someone on here made for me that is a gif!

Upload the image to an external hosting site (I prefer imgur.com) and insert the URL as an image when you're editing your signature as shown:
