Sorry if this was posted before.

I started playing around midnight and did enough to earn poki to buy everything in the gift area.

I’m enjoying it so far. A lot of the new furniture is beautiful. My clients were Eloise, Ursula and Roscoe. It feels like an upgrade to HHD.

As I mentioned in another topic, you can pick up the glowing moss and vines in the main area. I just hope they grow back!

P.S Niko Is a cutie!

Edit: The vines grow back in just a day it seems. The moss hasn't yet for me. :(

I have been loving it! I will admit to loving Happy Home Designer more than New Leaf, so I've been having a blast so far. I made my family watch me create rooms and compliment my totally amazing designs earlier. :p

I'm a few hours into it and I love everything about it so far! I keep gasping at how cute everything is and the new amazing items I'm discovering.

By the way if you are struggling to get the vines and the new weeds, look around in the peninsula of HHP head quarters, around the area there are many and you can take them 😉

Admitted, I never played Happy Home Designer (mostly because I didn't want to pay 55$ for it), and interior design isn't my strong suit. I'm mostly in it for the new items you can get, but for what the DLC provides, I am definitely enjoying it and hoping I learn to get better at interior design as time goes on.

Eloise is everyone’s first client and she chooses the same grid spot

My first three I designed for were her, Bertha, and Robin. Willow, Gigi, Alli, Marlo, and Pudge also options as the rounds progressed

I finished my first facility and brought over Tia to get a home built! You sure do earn lots of Poki fast. I bought everything from the shop including 10 souvenir chocolates, one for each of my islanders.

I'm enjoying the DLC a lot so far! Just like original HHD it's nice to play for a little bit, get your designing done, and then go back to your main island or log off for the day. Unlike HHD it's not a full priced video game, and gives you a bunch if neat add-ons for the main game.
Plus, I was able to get glowing moss and vines, FINALLY.

I love it but I’m a bit disappointed by the polishing skill. I somehow thought it would add effects to items other than sparkles but so far I’ve only seen sparkles..I can’t see myself using this skill in the future tbh.
Other than that everything is amazing tho!

I bought the DLC because I wanted more content for New Horizons. I've never played Happy Home Designer. This DLC, however, has surpassed my expectations. I'm enjoying it so much!

The first 3 vacation homes I furnished were for Eloise, Flora and Monique. I've also furnished a dream vacation home for Raymond, who is my islander. All 4 of them had very different themes, so it was pretty satisfying to do the job. 😁

Screenshots of their vacation homes are here on my island journal.

I'm loving it! So happy that we can build more than 1 client per plot and that exterior house decoration is coming for our villagers!! The new items are great.

I only decorated for Eloise and Lucy so far and crashed asleep halfway through Lucy's, so didn't get to the exterior, but am enjoying it. I really loved HHD so this is perfect.

I haven't had a chance to start it up because I'm trying to get to Target in an hour to find amiibo cards, but does anyone know if there's any new Nook Mile achievements for the DLC?

Most important for me, comparing HHD to HHP is integration with main game. It was irrelevant if I had hard or digital copy of ACNL and HHD - those were separate games. I must admit I didn't spent a lot of time with HHD and decided "maybe play later on" - I didn't give up on HHD completely.
Today, I spent some time with HHP playing alongside with my GF - and I feel like I'm enjoying. I'm not sure if presence of Eloise for everyone is a best choice, but i think she is like tutorial-character. It will be not a spoiler, as I don't have any knowledge, just I hope Eloise could be replaced later if anyone want her to "move out".
I could play more but my only concern is to finish this DLC quick... and then... yes, then... what to do? I'm not sure how HHD has been designed and if player was able to re-design houses, comming back to those villagers etc.
I was really pleased, when I saw "potential clients" different from my villagers (main island) and none of them was a part of my Amiibo collection (72 cards). I don't know if revisiting characters will be tempting, spending time with them or it would be mainly focused on designing or re-designing house and plot. I don't know if choosen characters will stay permanently or they will leave in time, or maybe I would be able to decide who-wil-stay-who-will-go, this question is not answerred for me for now.
Summary: my first impression is really positive - and have to play longer to see what future brings.

I just got Petri as a client. I think I need to look out for her when I pick up some amiibo packs today. She has a little red bow on the back of her head which is a neat addition. :)
