How have you been enjoying HHP so far?

Can anybody confirm when building a facility if you can assign jobs to villagers?

It's pretty fun, and far less challenging than I would've thought. I had thought that my lack of artistic talent would affect my enjoyment, but I love how they have all the furniture prepared for you, and you just need to see which fits best from the selection. lol

Kinda exhausting though. I spent almost an hour designing my second home. Will probably only two homes per day.

i honestly really love it!! i didnt expect to care too much abt it but its honestly super fun and relaxing i love building homes without having to worry abt money costs or whatever to play with my own designs! plus some of these villagers have some super interesting and unique ideas for house designs

I only did Eloise's house last night, because I had to work this morning. Looking forward to going back and seeing the office area in the day, but I did take a quick run around and grabbed some glowing moss and vines.

Maybe I’ll get the expansion for Christmas! Right now the update is giving me plenty to do with, especially with my time constraints in playing.

It was a nice surprise when the DLC suddenly activated. I really enjoyed playing it and excited about progressing in it.

The game will assign someone but you can go back and choose a different villager for the role

Like Happy Home Designer? As in you walk in and its usually random who is doing what but you can switch it up but it'll still be random next time?

Or does the game say pick Goldie to be the school teacher but depending on the vilalgers met you can assign Daisy to be the teacher whenever you visit?

I've only done Eloise's home so far, my switch needed to charge (playing handheld because of the storm and the power is spotty xD) and I have a couple errands to run, but it's amazing so far. I really am loving this DLC. I got a lot of cool items for sale for the Poki.

I’ve only built the school. The game asked me to okay Robin, who was the third villager I built for, as the teacher. Everyone else I’d built for so far was in the classroom at that point, but not assigned any role. The game said I could change the teacher whenever I wanted

Also, I unlocked the Amiibo machine by remodeling a villager home (I went back to give Eloise a yard). The game gave me the option to move her to a different grid too

i’m honestly having so much fun with it! i wasn’t expecting to like it as much as i do as i’ve never really been into designing interiors that aren’t my own, nor am i all that interested in changing my villagers’ interiors/exteriors, but it’s a blast! i love not knowing what villager/s i’ll decorate for each day, the furniture items are fantastic and i love lottie, niko and wardell, as well as the addition of faculties! i haven’t experienced everything yet, but the DLC is just... incredible imo. :’)

I’m enjoying it way too much than I expected. I played HHD so I knew I’d enjoy it to a certain extent but I didn’t expect them to make HHP so immersive. The way it’s integrated to the main game and the rewards system, unlocking stuff little by little by every house we design it just keeps me coming back for more.

I really enjoyed HHD, so I figured I would like this. But HHP has great quality of life stuff, as well as new things like partition walls and accent wallpaper that HHD didn't have. It makes it feel like there's so many more options. I love it and it's a huge improvement over HHD, especially being integrated into NH.

But also, I'm glad it came out because I don't think 2.0 alone would've helped enough with my not enough to do bored feeling. HHP + 2.0 is so much to do that I honestly think I finally like NH more than NL.

As we got this DLC only five days, we still have a new content and we enjoying this every single day. This is really good and refreshing. We got this DLC with big update of main game, so our daily activities become more interesting. No doubts.
At some point, we will be able unlock everything and fill all islands / plots, all facilities would be build - this is inevitable.
I wonder what level of re-playability we may have later on. For now, me may to re-design all houses, as often as we want - what is good. We have villagers interactions not only regarding designing but other situations, like meeting them on the beach and inside facilities, finding bottles with recipies on the beach, getting them from some "working villagers", spending poki-currency in the store.
Will it be enough to keep players to play on daily basis as we playing ACNH - not sure yet, we will see it.

One of the things I said I was most looking forward to about HHP was the opportunity to interact with villagers I wouldn't usually interact with, or haven't interacted with yet in NH (because I haven't cycled through many villagers).

I haven't been dispapointed! It's been a really nice change to interact with different types of villagers to my usual, and see what type of house they'd like, and look up their favourite colours/hobby and learn a little more about them. 🏝

I've really enjoyed the progression, and unlocking things one by one. I love Wardell, and buying things at the HHP shop. Also, Lottie is so adorable and sweet. And lastly, I love that the villagers sometimes come to the main island to hang out and give you gifts!
