How long do you spend designing?

For homes, anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on how inspired I am and how many items I have that are suitable for the theme. Harry's house, for instance, took a long time because not only did he unlock a lot of stuff, I had a lot of complementary items to add to it. That, and his theme (slop-tastic) was such a change of pace after all the twee pastel princess themes I had been working on that I was completely refreshed and inspired to do my best.

Facilities take me around an hour or two, again depending on enthusiasm. I hated designing the patient's ward in the hospital. Ugh.

Depends on the room size I pick, but usually half an hour to an hour!

Depends on how big the place is and how specific the theme is. So, anywhere from 15 mins to over an hour.

Usually 15-20 minutes for homes, and 1 hour for a facility, although now that I'm looking back at what I've done so far - I have all kinds of changes I want to make

About 30 minutes. The hospital took over an hour because I kept finding items that I wanted to add.
It was hard to make it a good hospital when I ran out of room.

I'm also AWFUL at designing and it takes me so long to design. I'm so happy to have the game though, my bestie gave it to me as an early winter solstice present! It usually takes me so long because I can't find any configuration that lets me put the furniture in the room I want, so I have to throw it all out and start over multiple times ;A;

For a Villager's home, it usually takes me about 15 to 20 minutes to design everything. Sometimes less. Usually it's the main buildings that can take me longer.

If it's a boring theme, I just throw stuff together to look semi-decent. Maybe 15-20 minutes tops.

On houses with themes I love, like Rococo and Princess? Hours. Muffy's house took me forever.

I do most villager houses in 20-30 minutes depending on my ideas. If I know what I want to do and what sort of things to go with it'll go by smoothly but if I dont have many ideas I will change a lot around.

Facilities take me around 40 minutes but thats because I didnt really want to spend long since I didn't have many things unlocked.

Usually 15, 20 or 30 minutes, depending on the idea I have for the house and or how excited I am to work on the house! Sometimes it takes even longer if I just made something but I don't like how it looks so then I just remake it again, doing things over and over.

As for facilities, with some I am done rather quickly, while others take me longer. I took a rather long time designing the caf? because I had no idea what I wanted.
